Il Zuunbeek forma qui il confine naturale tra i due distretti. Attraverso un tubo scorre sotto il canale, per poi scorrere a cielo aperto per circa un centinaio di metri sul lato destro del canale. Successivamente, il torrente sfocia nella Zenne, sottoterra, sotto l'autostrada. Alcuni centinaia di metri a monte, il Zuunbeek è alimentato dalle acque del Vogelzangbeek, che per una distanza di 3-4 chilometri forma il confine tra i comuni di Anderlecht e Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. Negli ultimi anni, la qualità ecologica e fisico-chimica del Zuunbeek è migliorata notevolmente grazie al trattamento delle acque reflue e al recupero degli antichi meandri del torrente.
