't Hoevezwijntje è un macellaio di fattoria. I maiali vengono allevati nella fattoria. Solo il maschio proviene da fuori dalla fattoria. Gli animali vengono alimentati con mangimi fatti in casa, senza aggiunte come antibiotici o stimolanti della crescita. I maiali vengono macellati sotto supervisione nella fattoria. La carne viene lavorata e condita in modo semplice, ossia con un composto di spezie di sale, pepe e noce moscata. Viene effettuata una macellazione ogni 14 giorni. Successivamente la carne viene preparata per la congelazione e confezionata sottovuoto secondo le scelte del cliente. Viene conservata in una cella frigorifera fino a quando il cliente non la ritira.
