Qui si sta lavorando alla formazione di boschi nell'area intorno a Hemsrode. Le zone non sono (ancora) accessibili, ma ci sono strade secondarie che permettono di osservare il tutto.
Nel 2013 è stato abbattuto il popolamento di pioppi. La preziosa vegetazione sottostante e gli alberi giovani sono stati mantenuti deliberatamente per ottenere fin da subito una distribuzione di età. Successivamente, il bosco è stato piantato con specie che si trovano nelle foreste alluvionali (le foreste alluvionali sono foreste umide e quindi vulnerabili): ontano nero, rovere estivo, rovere invernale, nocciolo, ...
La superficie totale è di 4,4 ettari.
