La torre della brughiera è alta 6 metri .
L'architettura si basa sulle torri di avvistamento dei prigionieri di guerra del 1945-1946 che si trovavano nelle tendopoli qui.
Fu poi riutilizzato come deposito di munizioni . Gli edifici in miniatura sono stati demoliti nel 2007-2008 . Ciò che resta sono i merli , muri rialzati che servivano per impedire alle fiamme di propagarsi ad altri edifici in caso di esplosione o incendio . Molte piante di erica rare crescono sui pendii esposti a sud dei merli.
