Arne Quinze ha sviluppato per la città di Ostenda un gruppo scultoreo chiamato Rock Strangers. Ogetti strani che riemergono in luoghi dove meno te li aspetteresti, come nella rinnovata Piazza Zeehelden, il punto caldo della città. Sembrano essere trasportati dalle onde. Grazie al loro colore arancione vivo, creano un forte contrasto con l'ambiente naturale circostante e hanno un effetto disorientante. I suoi Rock Strangers formano un accento colorato in un contesto urbano altrimenti piuttosto neutro. Con questa immensa installazione metallica, Quinze intende opporsi all'eterogeneità sempre più forte nell'urbanistica. Vuole anche penetrare nella sicura cocoon che le persone costruiscono attorno a sé in città. Elementi strani emergono e contribuiscono alla multi-società
