La pavimentazione della fontaine du perron risale al 1674 ed è simbolo delle concessioni concesse alla città di Spa dall'arcivescovo di Colonia nel 1594. Nel 1887 fu trasformata in fontana , simbolo della giustizia diventando monumento di pubblica utilità.
Una base rotonda alta e curva forma la base della fontana. La grata in ferro battuto circonda quattro vasche rettangolari disposte a croce. Un imponente cratere in pietra con quattro teste di leone fornisce l'acqua. La scala in ghisa a pigna è il pezzo forte, circondata da tre rane.
