Uscliamo dalla valle del Vuylbeek e giriamo a destra per attraversare di nuovo la Tweebergenweg dopo alcune centinaia di metri e proseguire verso la valle di Wollenborre. Qui ci muoviamo di nuovo attraverso una cattedrale di faggi. Il sentiero si snoda attraverso il bosco di faggi per arrivare infine al lago Hoefijzervijver. Godetevi ancora la passeggiata, con un paesaggio molto vario. Fate attenzione anche alle quantità e alle dimensioni degli alberi morti, spezzati o sdraiati a terra. Questi sono mini-ecosistemi e eccezionalmente importanti per la biodiversità.
