La cappella originale fu costruita nel XVII secolo . Questa antica cappella fu distrutta durante la Rivoluzione Francese.
Nel 1874 il signore del castello Victor Pycke de Peteghem fece costruire l'attuale cappella nei pressi della cappella scomparsa.
La cappella è realizzata in mattoni rossi con fasce di mattoni bianchi in stile neoromanico . Presenta un grande portale ad arco a tutto sesto con medaglione . Una finestra neoromanica ad arco a tutto sesto con colonna divisoria illumina le facciate laterali.
La statua della Madonna di Lourdes è collocata in una parete che imita una grotta, con una ringhiera in ferro battuto sul davanti. Due statue di San Giuseppe e le immagini del Sacro Cuore di Maria, del Sacro Cuore di Gesù e una Via Crucis in gesso sono gli unici ornamenti sulle pareti laterali. Sul retro si trovano altre piccole statue, il che fa sì che questa cappella piuttosto ampia non sia sovraccarica. La lampada in metallo del santuario è stata conservata.
