Punto di svolta per questa salita è "Rue sur Steppes" a Trooz (Fraipont), la salita preferita di allenamento di Tom Dumoulin. Stretta, ripida (...15%!!) come nel Paese Basco.
Per arrivarci possiamo riscaldarci su Roche-a-Frêne, Côte de Saint-Roch, ecc. Da Chambralles (sull'altro lato) si prosegue attraverso la Côte de Rouvreux fino a Sprimont.
Poi affrontiamo Fraipont "Rue sur Steppes", salita in 4 gradini (steps...), molto ripida >15%..>2km... Ora con nuovo asfalto!!!
Il ritorno è un po' più facile, rimaniamo in quota (ondulato) per raggiungere Tæru in discesa alla fine.
