Sion è un comune svizzero di 33 999 abitanti del Canton Vallese, nel distretto di Sion; ha lo status città ed è la capitale del cantone e il capoluogo del distretto.
Nel 1968 ha inglobato il comune soppresso di Bramois, nel 2013 quello di Salins e nel 2017 quello di Les Agettes.
