Se riesci a convivere con il fatto che hai scalato una montagna di tre metri a meno di 3000 m, scoprirai che il Torrenthorn vale la pena. La salita è facilitata dal giro sulla cabinovia del Torrente fino alla Rinderhütte a 2310 m. Dall'Hotel Torrenthorn (2459 m), il sentiero segue la cresta ovest su un sentiero stretto ma ben segnalato fino alla cima panoramica. A causa della magnifica vista sulla zona circostante, il Torrenthorn è spesso indicato come il "Rigi del Vallese". Ritorno sullo stesso percorso fino alla stazione Rinderhütte, la stazione a monte della Torrentbahn.
