Fürth è un comune nel distretto della Bergstraße in Hesse meridionale. È una località di villeggiatura riconosciuta dallo stato e sede di un tribunale.
Il territorio comunale di Fürth si trova nell'Odenwald anteriore nella valle superiore del Weschnitz. Il comune centrale e alcuni altri quartieri si trovano direttamente lungo il Weschnitz, che scorre a sud-ovest verso Weinheim e sfocia nel Reno a Biblis. Altri quartieri si trovano sopra il fondo della valle e in valli laterali. Il paesaggio fa parte del Geo-Naturpark Bergstraße-Odenwald. Il nome del comune deriva probabilmente da un antico guado attraverso il Weschnitz. La massima elevazione è il Wagenberg, alto 536 metri, situato al confine sud-est del comune, il punto terminale settentrionale della catena montuosa che si estende verso sud fino dietro la Tromm e separa la valle del Weschnitz dalla regione dell'Überwald.
