Hiltrup è il distretto urbano più meridionale dei sei distretti della città di Münster nel Land tedesco della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. Al 31 dicembre 2019, il numero di abitanti era di 38.247.
I germani Bructeri, a quanto emerge dai risultati di ricerche archeologiche, hanno abitato alcune fattorie nei pressi dell'attuale DEK a Hiltrup intorno all'inizio della nostra era. Nel XII secolo, Hiltrup si sviluppò attorno alla chiesa di San Clemente. Dal 1848, Hiltrup ha una stazione sulla linea ferroviaria Hamm - Emden.
