Achtum-Uppen è un quartiere di Hildesheim, che consiste di due parti: la maggiore Achtum, situata quattro chilometri a est di Hildesheim, poco a nord della strada federale B 6, e la minore Uppen, cinque chilometri a est di Hildesheim lungo la strada federale 6.
Il quartiere di Achtum, un ex villaggio a grappolo, è stato menzionato per la prima volta nel 1173 come Achtem in un documento, quando la decima del villaggio è stata trasferita dal vescovo Adelog al monastero di Godehard. Il villaggio ha ricevuto una chiesa propria nel 1195; in precedenza apparteneva alla parrocchia di San Andrea a Hildesheim.
