Elten è un quartiere della città di Emmerich am Rhein nel circondario di Kleve nella Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. Elten ha una superficie di circa 9 km² e 4731 abitanti, di cui una minoranza non insignificante sono olandesi. Si trova nella bassa Renania, in prossimità dei Paesi Bassi, lungo l'autostrada A 3 che collega la regione della Ruhr ad Arnhem. Qui inizia anche la B 8, che attraversa la Germania per 800 chilometri fino a Passau al confine austriaco.
