Il Lago di Beyenburger è uno dei più piccoli bacini idrici della Bergisches Land ed è gestito dal Wupperverband.
Il bacino si trova a circa otto chilometri a sud-est di Wuppertal-Barmen, direttamente nella frazione di Beyenburg a Wuppertal. Si trova nella valle del Wupper, che qui è sbarrata e quindi è anche l'affluente più importante del bacino. Oltre a ciò, alcuni piccoli ruscelli come il torrente Spreeler si riversano nel bacino. Il bacino confina con le città di Wuppertal, Ennepetal e Radevormwald.
