Le pendici della Ruhr di Hohensyburg sono un'area protetta nel quartiere Syburg di Dortmund o nelle montagne Ardey. Si trova al confine meridionale di Dortmund, a nord della Ruhr vicino a Hohensyburg. L'area protetta è stata istituita per la prima volta nel 1990 e questo è stato mantenuto nella prima modifica del piano paesaggistico il 2 settembre 2005. L'area protetta comprende, sotto forma di tre sottoaree, una superficie di 42,9 ettari. Le sottoaree sono separate l'una dall'altra dalla zona di protezione paesaggistica Ardey Wälder. Nell'area adiacente di Hagen si trova direttamente l'area protetta di Ruhraue Syburg.
