Il castello di Bernburg, noto anche come Corona di Anhalt, si erge come un castello rinascimentale su un alto sperone di arenaria sulla sponda orientale del Saale, nel luogo di un antico guado, sopra la città di Bernburg in Sassonia-Anhalt. Il complesso del castello risale a un castello medievale in alta quota. Il castello è gestito dalla Fondazione culturale della Sassonia-Anhalt come proprietario.
La Bernburg è stata probabilmente menzionata il 29 giugno 961 come un castello circolare e fortificato sassone con fossato e vallato in un atto di donazione del re Otto I come "Brandanburg". Un grande complesso fortificato altomedievale è stato nel frattempo archeologicamente dimostrato sulla collina del castello di Bernburg.
