L'energia elettrica generata da tre turbine Kaplan con albero verticale e un diametro dell'albero di cinque metri ammonta a 23,3 MW. La centrale elettrica genera elettricità ferroviaria. Il proprietario della centrale elettrica è Donau Wasserkraft AG; è gestita da Uniper Kraftwerke GmbH. Il collegamento alla rete è effettuato a livello di tensione di 110 kV nella rete elettrica dell'operatore della rete elettrica ferroviaria DB Energie.
