La Speicherstadt di Potsdam è un'area di sviluppo che sarà trasformata in un quartiere urbano nei prossimi anni. Entro la fine del 2014 sono già stati costruiti 253 appartamenti in affitto e di proprietà nella zona meridionale e gli edifici protetti dai monumenti sono stati ristrutturati. Entro il 2022 seguiranno circa 270 appartamenti e un grande hotel nella sezione settentrionale.
La Speicherstadt si trova a Potsdam tra Brauhausberg e Havel, di fronte al Castello della città. È delimitata a sud e a est dalla Leipziger Straße e dal Lange Brücke, a nord dalla linea ferroviaria della stazione centrale. A ovest, l'area è delimitata naturalmente dall'Havel.
