Oldersum (un tempo noto anche come Olderzumergast) è un paese nel comune tedesco di Moormerland nella Friesland Orientale. Il paese si trova sulla riva nord dell'Ems, tra Leer ed Emden. Il paese è nato su un'eminence, chiamato in Germania Warft. Storicamente, Oldersum si trovava al confine della regione di Krummhörn.
Oldersum e dintorni costituivano una propria signoria governata dalla famiglia delle nobili che prendeva il nome dal paese di Oldersum. All'interno della signoria, il paese aveva lo status di borgo. La signoria fu venduta nel 1631 alla città di Emden, che così ottenne il controllo.
