Il Mehe si trova sopra la strada statale 495, la sorgente si trova al ponte stradale Großenhain/Ebersdorf, l'imbocco nel fiume Oste si trova a Brobergen, dove si trova anche la pompa Mehe costruita nel 1956. Tra Dornsode e Alfstedt, il Westerbek si unisce da destra. Altri affluenti sono il Wallbeck tra Alfstedt e Mehedorf e il Hollener Mühlenbach tra Hollen e l'estremità nord di Ostendorf. Il Mehe ha avuto un'importanza per la scelta dello stemma della comunità di Geestequelle, che illustra lo spartiacque tra il fiume Weser e il fiume Elba con un simbolo fluviale. I fiumi Lune e Geeste che nascono nella comunità sfociano nel Weser, mentre il Mehe sfocia nell'Oste.
