Il castello di Oberhausen è un complesso neoclassico situato nel quartiere Alt-Oberhausen-Mitte di Oberhausen. La proprietà ha dato il nome alla stazione ferroviaria costruita nelle vicinanze nel 1846 e aperta nel 1847, e quindi alla successiva città di Oberhausen.
Un complesso precursore risalente al XII/XIII secolo si trovava a circa 200 metri dall'attuale posizione ed è ormai completamente scomparso. Dopo che la proprietà era passata dalla famiglia von Dücker alla famiglia von der Hovens all'inizio del XVII secolo, fu costruito sul terreno, tra il 1804 e il 1818, un nuovo castello per Maximilian Friedrich von Westerholt-Gysenberg e sua moglie Friederike Karoline von Bretzenheim, seguendo i piani del maestro di costruzione della corte del conte di Bentheim-Steinfurt, August Reinking.
