Il Castello di Baldeney, noto anche come Casa di Baldeney, si trova nel quartiere di Bredeney a Essen ed è nato da un antico castello d'acqua medievale. Ha dato il nome al Lago di Baldeney, completato nel 1933, situato sulla sua sponda nord, ed è protetto come monumento storico e archeologico.
L'attuale complesso del castello è stato costruito in arenaria del Ruhr e consiste oltre che nell'edificio principale, in un ex edificio agricolo e nella cappella ad esso annessa. Un tempo era circondato da un fossato, che è stato interrato circa nel 1890 ma che è ancora riconoscibile nel terreno. Il catasto originale del 1875 mostra la proprietà con ampi fossati e edifici agricoli, oggi non più conservati.
