L'aeroporto di Cottbus-Nord è un ex aeroporto militare nel nord-ovest della città di Cottbus. Costruito negli anni '20 per un uso civile, è stato successivamente utilizzato dalla Wehrmacht, dall'Armata Rossa, dalla NVA e dalla Bundeswehr a partire dagli anni '30.
Gli edifici risalenti all'epoca nazista presso l'aeroporto di Cottbus sono stati riutilizzati dopo la Seconda guerra mondiale, sono stati costruiti nuovi edifici durante il periodo della DDR e sono stati utilizzati anche dopo la riunificazione.
