Il trasmettitore Bungsberg si trova a circa 750 m a nord-nord-ovest del Bungsberg. Il suo palo antenne è alto 249 m, è stato costruito nel 2004 e ha la forma di un palo in acciaio a traliccio consolidato. L'installazione è utilizzata dalla Norddeutscher Rundfunk per la radiodiffusione FM, la radiodiffusione DAB e la televisione.
Il vecchio palo in acciaio a tubo utilizzato fino al 2004 è stato sostituito con un palo in acciaio a traliccio consolidato simile, equipaggiato con antenne di trasmissione per DVB-T. La sostituzione del vecchio trasmettitore più piccolo è ben visibile nella foto in alto a destra.
