Il Katschhof è una piazza pubblica situata centralmente nella città di Aquisgrana. Il nome deriva da Kaxhoff, poi Kackshoff o Katzhoff e rappresenta quindi un'indicazione della posizione del precedente palo della vergogna. Tra il 1847 e il 1902, il Katschhof fu chiamato in onore del sindaco di Aquisgrana Gerhard Chorus Chorusplatz, dopo di che la piazza riprese il suo antico nome storico e la strada che vi conduce mantenne il nome Ritter-Chorus-Straße. Grazie alla sua posizione tra la Cattedrale di Aquisgrana e il municipio di Aquisgrana, così come l'architettura modellata su un piano medievale, emana un'atmosfera particolare. Grandi eventi come concerti, mercati settimanali, festival e il mercatino di Natale di Aquisgrana si tengono qui.
