La stazione di Xanten è una stazione regionale a ovest del centro città di Xanten sulla linea ferroviaria Rheinhausen–Kleve.
Dalla parziale dismissione in direzione di Kleve nel 1990, è l'ultima fermata della linea attiva dal 15 agosto 1904.
L'attuale stazione è stata inaugurata nel 1904 con la linea del Basso Reno. Fino al 1914 portava, per distinzione, la designazione di Xanten Staatsbahnhof. Dal 1921, fino alla nazionalizzazione della linea Boxteler nel 1925, fu chiamata Xanten Reichsbahn. Da quel momento ha preso il nome di Xanten. Il servizio passeggeri sospeso nel 1945 è stato ripreso nel 1947 da nord e nel 1948 da sud. Nel 1989 il servizio passeggeri per Kleve è stato sospeso, e nel 1990 anche il servizio merci, da allora Xanten è il capolinea della linea.
