La estación de tren de Xanten es una estación regional al oeste del centro de la ciudad de Xanten en la línea ferroviaria Rheinhausen–Kleve.
Desde la parcial clausura en dirección a Kleve en 1990, es la terminal de la línea que ha estado en operación desde el 15 de agosto de 1904.
La actual estación fue inaugurada en 1904 con la línea Niederrhein. Hasta 1914, para distinguirla, llevaba la denominación de estación estatal de Xanten. A partir de 1921, hasta la nacionalización del ferrocarril de Boxteler en 1925, fue denominada estación ferroviaria de Xanten. Desde entonces, llevó el nombre de Xanten. El tráfico de pasajeros, que se detuvo en 1945, pudo ser reanudado desde el norte en 1947 y desde el sur en 1948. En 1989 se suspendió el tráfico de pasajeros hacia Kleve, y en 1990 también se detuvo el tráfico de mercancías; desde entonces, Xanten es el punto final de la línea.
