Hemeln è una frazione della città di Hann. Münden nel distretto di Göttingen in Bassa Sassonia. Il villaggio si trova a dodici chilometri a valle della città principale di Hann. Münden. All'insediamento, che conta quasi 900 abitanti, appartengono anche i due villaggi di Glashütte con 77 e Bursfelde con 28 abitanti. I tre villaggi si trovano lungo il fiume Weser ai piedi del Bramwald. Fino alla riforma territoriale del 1973 costituivano un comune autonomo.
