L'Oleodotto Transalpino ) è un oleodotto che collega il porto di Trieste ad Ingolstadt. Viene gestito dal Gruppo TAL, che a sua volta gestisce tre società che amministrano i vari tratti in Italia , Austria e Germania . Il ruolo che il Gruppo TAL svolge nell'approvvigionamento energetico è di primaria importanza per l'economia europea: il petrolio che viene trasportato nell'oleodotto ricopre infatti il 40 % del fabbisogno petrolifero della Germania , il 90 % dell'Austria e oltre il 30% della Repubblica Ceca.
Il tratto italiano può essere suddiviso in tre parti che in seguito vengono descritte più in dettaglio. Esse sono: porto di Trieste, il parco serbatoi di San Dorligo della Valle e l'oleodotto in Provincia di Udine.
