La Tuchfabrik Aachen AG era una delle più grandi aziende tessili di Aix-la-Chapelle. Fu fondata nel 1859 dagli imprenditori Alfred Ritz e Conrad Vogel ad Aix-la-Chapelle inizialmente con il nome "Ritz & Vogel" e nel 1873 trasferita in un nuovo stabilimento costruito secondo i progetti di Otto Intze in Charlottenstraße, sulle rive del Beverbach nel quartiere Frankenberger, che all'epoca apparteneva ancora al comune vicino di Burtscheid. Nel 1887 il complesso fu acquisito dai fabbricanti Siegmund Sternau e Albert Süskind, che incorporarono la loro fabbrica di tessuti "Süskind & Sternau", trasformando la nuova azienda complessiva nel 1897 in "Tuchfabrik Aachen AG".
