Il castello di Arras è una fortezza che fu costruita all'inizio del XII secolo vicino ad Alf sul Mosella, nel distretto di Cochem-Zell nella Renania-Palatinato.
Durante la tarda antichità esisteva sul sito della futura fortezza una stazione di cavalli romana fortificata, simile a quelle che si trovavano nell'Eifel e nell'Hunsrück. Ma dopo il ritiro dei Romani, per diversi secoli rimase solo un deserto.
