Il Liceo Cardinale von Galen è un liceo a Kevelaer gestito dalla città. Prende il nome dal vescovo di Münster Clemens August Graf von Galen, che durante il Terzo Reich si oppose pubblicamente all'"eutanasia" e nel 1942 visitò personalmente Kevelaer.
Poco dopo che era stata istituita la peregrinazione a Kevelaer, nel 1657 l'oratoriano Johannes Stalenus propose di istituire un liceo. Tuttavia, questa proposta fu respinta dal monastero, poiché c'era troppo lavoro nella pastorale.
