Oltre al portone ("Hunnenporte") e a una parte del lato sud, gli edifici furono demoliti entro il 1902. Le colonne del lato ovest a due piani del chiostro, integrate nel Museo Diocesano di Münster nel 1864, tornarono dopo la sua demolizione nel 1966. I lavori di restauro sono iniziati prima del 2004. Con la ricostruzione di due spieker presso il portone e il ripristino del mulino del convento, l'associazione locale cercò di mantenere vivo il carattere dell'antico villaggio monastico.
