Il castello di Barby è un complesso barocco situato a Barby, una città nel Salzlandkreis, in Sassonia-Anhalt, le cui origini risalgono a un castello di confine del X secolo e che ha servito come residenza dal XVII secolo. Dal XVIII al XX secolo è stato utilizzato come istituto educativo e dal 1979 ospita l'archivio del registro fondiario della Sassonia-Anhalt.
Le origini del castello risalgono al X secolo. In un documento del re Ottone I del 961, con il quale donò Barby a sua sorella Matilde, badessa di Quedlinburg, viene menzionato per la prima volta un castello di confine nel luogo. La badessa di Quedlinburg investì la signoria di Barby con il castello.
