Het kasteel Barby is een barok kastelencomplex in Barby, een stad in het Salzlandkreis in Saksen-Anhalt, waarvan de oorsprongen teruggaan tot een grensburcht uit de 10e eeuw en dat sinds de 17e eeuw als residentie diende. Van de 18e tot de 20e eeuw werd het als onderwijsinstelling gebruikt en herbergt het sinds 1979 het hypotheekarchief van Saksen-Anhalt.
De oorsprong van het kasteel gaat terug tot de 10e eeuw. In een oorkonde van koning Otto I uit het jaar 961, waarmee hij zijn zus Mathilde, abdis van Quedlinburg, Barby schonk, wordt voor het eerst een grensburcht in de plaats genoemd. De abdis van Quedlinburg beleent de Barbyse heerschappij met de burcht.
