Poiché i comuni distrettuali possono avere al massimo otto comuni membri con almeno 1.000 abitanti ciascuno, lo stesso giorno il comune di Wulferstedt è stato unito al comune di Am Großen Bruch. La sua popolazione è così aumentata da 1.581 a 2.398 abitanti.
