L'area naturale protetta Dinkelaue Gronau-Epe si trova nel territorio della città di Gronau nel distretto di Borken in Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia.
L'area, composta da sei parcelle, si estende a sud del centro cittadino di Gronau e a ovest e a sud del quartiere di Gronau Epe lungo il fiume Dinkel. Nel tratto settentrionale dell'area passa la B 54. A ovest si trova la B 70 e il confine di stato con i Paesi Bassi, e si estendono l'area naturale protetta Eper-Graeser Venn di 366,8 ha e l'area naturale protetta Amtsvenn – Hündfelder Moor di 893 ha.
