Redondela è un comune spagnolo di 29.241 abitanti situato nella comunità autonoma della Galizia, all'interno dell'area metropolitana di Vigo da cui dista pochi chilometri e nella provincia di Pontevedra.La città viene chiamata "città dei Viadotti" per la presenza del viadotto "Peter Floriani" a 318 metri, inaugurato nel 1876, oggi non più usato, ed il viadotto a 250 metri di altezza denominato "Pontevedra", dell'anno 1884.
