Il Ter è un fiume nella Catalogna, in Spagna, che inizia nei Pirenei presso Ull de Ter (2480 m di altitudine), attraversa la città di Girona e sfocia nel Mar Mediterraneo vicino a Torroella de Montgrí. La foce è anche conosciuta come La Gola. Il fiume è lungo 208 km e ha un bacino idrografico di 3001 km², rendendolo il fiume più grande della Catalogna. Insieme al Muga e al Fluvià, ha formato la grande pianura alluvionale di Empordà presso la foce. Il fiume si unisce alla La Maçana e si dirige verso Girona, dove i fiumi Güell e Onyar si riversano nel Ter. È possibile pescare carpe dopo una passeggiata di quattro chilometri fino alla foce. Catture giornaliere di 45 kg sono molto comuni.
