La Corte Suprema delle Baleari è l'organo giurisdizionale dove si conclude l'organizzazione giudiziaria delle Baleari all'interno del suo corrispondente territorio e dove si esauriscono i gradi di giudizio successivi, senza pregiudizio delle competenze della Corte Suprema. Ha sede a Palma.
Gli Statuti Autonomi del 1983 prevedevano l'esistenza del TSJIB nei loro articoli 48, 50 e 57, che avevano quasi la stessa formulazione di quelli attualmente in vigore.
