La chiesa di Sant Martí, di Sant Martí Vescovo e Sant'Antonio Abate, è una delle più antiche della città di Valencia, situata all'inizio della strada Sant Vicent. L'origine risale alla conquista della città da parte di Giacomo I, che in origine era una moschea, dedicata al culto cattolico.
Dopo la conquista di Valencia nel 1238, l'arcivescovo di Tarragona, Pere d'Albalat, consacra una moschea all'interno delle mura della città, questa è l'origine dell'attuale Sant Martí. Inizialmente la costruzione era modesta, come dimostra il fatto che nel 1276 tutte le chiese erano già state ricostruite, tranne quella di Sant Tomàs, che manteneva ancora la forma di una moschea.
