La spiaggia di Coedo si trova nel comune asturiano di Navia e appartiene alla località spagnola di Las Cortinas.[3]Nonostante non sia inclusa nella zona conosciuta come Paesaggio Protetto della Costa Occidentale delle Asturie, presenta una classificazione come ZEPA e LIC.[4]La spiaggia ha forma di insenatura, o piccola baia, con una lunghezza di circa 50 m e una larghezza media di circa 30-35 m. Il suo ambiente è rurale, con un grado di urbanizzazione medio e un pericolo basso. L'accesso pedonale è di circa cinquecento m di lunghezza. Il fondo è composto da sabbie grossolane e scure. Ci sono anche grandi lastre di ardesia. È una spiaggia dove arriva l'«ocle» con una certa frequenza, strappato e spinto dalle maree.
