Si trova a 67 km a nord di Burgos capitale, e a 20 km da Villarcayo, nel cuore della Valle di Valdivielso,[1] fiancheggiato dalla Sierra de la Tesla e dal fiume Ebro.
Si accede tramite la strada locale BU-V-5314, tra le località di Arroyo e Hoz. Questa via comunica con la nazionale N-232 da Cabañas de Virtus a Oña.
