Il monumento a Giovanni Paolo II è una statua in bronzo situata su un piedistallo in Plaza Virgen de los Reyes.
Il monumento è un gesto della città in omaggio a Giovanni Paolo II , che visitò Siviglia nel 1982 per la beatificazione di Angela della Croce, e nel 1993 durante la sua visita a Siviglia per concludere il XLV Congresso Eucaristico Internazionale.
Il monumento è stato progettato nel 2006 dall'associazione Promonumento a Juan Pablo II. È stato creato ed esposto al Cajasol Center in Plaza San Francisco. Sono stati presi in considerazione diversi luoghi per il posizionamento: Plaza de la Contratación, Puerta de Jerez e Calle Adolfo Rodríguez Jurado. Infine, si è deciso di collocarlo in Plaza Virgen de los Reyes, vicino alla Cattedrale di Siviglia e di fronte al Palazzo Arcivescovile.
La statua poggia su una base in marmo con targa. È stato inaugurato nel 2012 alla presenza del sindaco, Juan Ignacio Zoido, e dell'arcivescovo, Juan José Asenjo.
