Il col de Fontfroide a 973 m è un valico stradale della montagna di Espinouse nel Massiccio Centrale, nel dipartimento dell'Hérault, nel comune di Fraisse-sur-Agout, tra i borghi di Fraisse-sur-Agout e di Saint-Vincent-d'Olargues. Il valico si trova sulla linea di spartiacque tra l'oceano Atlantico e il mare Mediterraneo, nel parco naturale regionale dell'Alto Linguadoca. Il contrasto climatico è molto elevato tra i due versanti: Fraisse-sur-Agout è molto verdeggiante, mentre Saint-Vincent-d'Olargues ha una vegetazione mediterranea con ulivi e cicale.
