El col de Fontfroide a 973 m es un puerto de montaña de la sierra de l'Espinouse en el Macizo Central, en el departamento de Hérault, en el municipio de Fraisse-sur-Agout, entre las localidades de Fraisse-sur-Agout y Saint-Vincent-d'Olargues. El col se encuentra en la línea de división de aguas entre el océano Atlántico y el mar Mediterráneo, en el parque natural regional del Alto Languedoc. El contraste climático es muy alto entre los dos lados: Fraisse-sur-Agout es muy verde, mientras que Saint-Vincent-d'Olargues tiene una vegetación mediterránea con olivos y cigarras.
