Chambéry (Savoiardi: Chambèri) è una città e comune nelle Alpi Francesi. È il capoluogo del dipartimento della Savoia. Nel 1999 vivevano 55.786 persone. Chambéry è uno dei luoghi in cui si trova l'Université de Savoie.
La città esisteva già ai tempi romani. Tra il 1232 e il 1562, Chambéry fu la capitale del territorio della Savoia. Tra il 1792 e il 1815, quando la Savoia apparteneva alla Francia, Chambéry fu la capitale del dipartimento del Monte Bianco. Nel 1860, la Savoia entrò definitivamente a far parte della Francia, dopo aver fatto parte nel frattempo della Sardegna.
Durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, la città fu parzialmente distrutta.
