A destra, la nave affondata perpendicolare al molo del Vecchio Arsenale è il cargo Le Normand affondato dai tedeschi. Servirà come molo di scarico e verrà demolito solo nel 1946. In primo piano due bunker, e a destra la spiaggia Napoleon, il porto anteriore del Commercio e il Bacino del Commercio.
Tra i due il ponte girevole e sullo sfondo la città di Cherbourg.
